The early indications from spokesmen for the LibLabCons about the UKIP successes are that the political establishment are refusing to listen.

This reader's comment in the Daily Express says it all for me:

Quote:
No doubt we'll hear all the usual feeble excuses being trotted out by the lib/lab/con merchants - mid-term blues, unpopular policies, just a protest vote etc. And as usual they're missing the point completely - we're sick of being lied to, betrayed and ripped off by all of them. They just won't listen and seem determined to continue with disastrous policies that allow them to line their own pockets at our expense. Here's the news Cameron - we've had enough. We just don't believe your lies, promises, and pledges any more, we are protesting and we're voting for a party that promises to act in our interests, not yours. Until you wake up, stop promoting your own narrow self-interest and start putting the electorate first, we'll keep on hammering you at the ballot box until you finally get the message - we've had enough! (I sent my own 'message' yesterday and voted UKIP)

Be careful what you wish for.
We had a hung parliament with the balance held by the tree-huggers and a couple of "Independents" they soon sold out to the Labour minority. Consequently we have spent billions that we don't have on useless ideas that we don't need.
There will be a big backlash at the next election.

We have endured decades of useless and expensive policies from the LibLabcon establishment. All three of them are as equally green and dishonest as the Greens themselves. Frankly, a troop of monkeys would be an enormous improvement over the established parties. The direction the established parties are taking us under the leadership of the undemocratic centrist and power-crazy EU, are not so different to Nazi Germany in the 30s. In fact, Hitler would be most envious of the advantages available to the established UK political parties today, and proud of their progress.

The leader of the UK Green Party is a certain Australian, a very nasty Natalie Louise Bennett. Her policies are practically the same as those of the LibLabCon parties anyway. She plans to completely sink the UK into the Fourth Reich of the EU. Where every essential for life becomes rationed and controlled by the unelected megalomaniacs in Brussels.

As I say, a troop of monkeys would be a significant improvement – at least their actions would be largely random, unplanned, and tending towards the general good of the species.

Must admit my impression of Ms Bennett from QT last week was of a bully who tries to ridicule the opposing argument. Very nasty piece of work. And what is an Australian doing leading a UK political party? Her wiki page suggests there are questions to be asked about her election and that it may have been 'rigged'.

She probably carries about the same legitimacy as the many police commissioners we now have up and down the Country what was it <10% electoral turnout who are now by and large busy using public funds to build their empires and appoint family and friends to well paid jobs.

Still got to watch this weeks QT. I have read that David Starkey did a good job of shoeing a certain Ms Harman last night.....

That would be FANTASTIC Brian. I just thought you'd all gone collectively mad/soft down there.
