Bad news all round...... Sarin is a nasty stuff (as bad as it gets) and really is a weapon of mass destruction.
When I was in the army and the threat was in the East this is the stuff we feared the most and what our whole chemical warfare protection training centred on (you will have seen lots of pictures of soldiers in 'Noddy Suits' and wearing respirators. This sort of kit is the only defence against this stuff one tiny drop on your skin and you are history in just a few short minutes. Even in a heavily contaminated environment respirator filters have to be changed every few hours.. I won't bore you with the procedure for carrying out usual bodily functions in such an environment save to say you try not to go.

WASHINGTON — The White House said Thursday that it believes the Syrian government has used chemical weapons in its civil war, an assessment that could test President Obama’s repeated warnings that such an attack could precipitate American intervention in Syria.
So what can we deduce from this? Two things spring immediately to mind.
1. Syria has worthwhile oil reserves.
2. We will be asked to prepare a dodgy dossier on the WMD whose Author will turn up dead shortly after publication!!
