In some parts of town Jim, you are using the wrong tense. Try taking the 427 or 607 from Shepherds Bush to Uxbridge and try to listen in to a fellow passenger's conversation. Unless you are multi lingual, you ain't got a chance.

Does that view make me a racist? I don't know, but if we are all destined to be one huge multicultural society, it would at least be nice to have a common language - maybe even English or we will never end division & suspicion

I don't think any public transport could afford me as a passenger my days of flue incubators are well and truly over, they are trying hard with the price of diesel, to get me using public transport, but having done my share working from 14 to 65 after 51 years in the work house gives me the right to stick two fingers up and make retirement a little easier

They speak semolina don't they? I know we are no longer nation held together by loyalty or even heritage, but have been sold down the river and are being colonized into the mish mash of neither one or another. Over 2000 years we have fought and defended these Islands, just to see all those efforts thrown away by some political bunch of crooks. now they have such numbers that we are dead in the water, and no longer able to defend our rights as English unless it fits in.
