Today is 24th October, in a local paper which is available from the 24th October there is an advert for a job in a local school. It is only when you read the small print you notice that the deadline for applications is 22nd October which is 2 days before the advert went out. The school were contacted at 09:00 am on 24th October and stated that they were not taking any applications as they had shortlisted the applicants.

WOW they must be dam quick cos the advert was only placed today and the school within minutes of opening had enough candidates to draw up a shortlist. So these lucky candidates must get the local papers before the rest of the borough then.

Or as I have seen many times before, was this yet another PC farse, as the job was advertised only after the deadline ??? but if the school are ever audited they will simply show the advert and no auditor will bother to read the small print.

So did this job already go to someone at the school, or a friend of a governor ect and they are just playing the PC game.

A Local freigth forward company have been advertising for a export clerk for over 18 months now. To me this means they are either a crap company to work for and everyone leaves or crap at hiring people, or more to the point could they just be using job websites to get free advertising for themselves

There are so many of these things going on and the government, jobcentres and even
the agencies know its going on but do nothing about it.

you dont know anyone, who knows anyone, who dont wanna job, that anyone cant do, or no one dont know anyone want a job, that no one can do, please apply.
