Same with mine, they are playing the hokey cokey between Co-Dydromol and Co-Codomol, or however they are spelt. It all depends on who does the review.

Slight difference in those two though. You can buy Co-codamol over the counter. Best headache tablets around! We've always got some in the house!
But you can sometimes get Co-dydramol if it's the low dosage over the counter. The higher dosage has to be prescribed.

Oh the irony.

Since my last post singing the praises of Diclofenac I was reviewed by my GP today and after 3 years I've been taken off it with immediate effect and put on........Naproxen.

If I may quote the words of that legendary Motown group The Temptations........" Around and around and around it goes, where its all headed, nobody knows......its just a Ball of Confusion ".

Moley :?

When the doc changed mine from Diclofenic to Naproxin he said it was a 'cost thing' , and also Naproxen had less side affects........(so what do we mere mortals know?  ;)

^^ Yes I was given the 'side affects' reason yesterday Pam, in fact the GP I saw yesterday seemed a bit suprised I had been prescribed Diclofenac for so long tbh.

Fed up with it all now so Im hopefully heading south to stay with friends on the South Coast for a few days later this week. The weather could be a bit dire though !!

For an answer to the original question posed in this topic you need look no further than the programme currently showing on BBC1. ( Hopefully available on I-player for later veiwing ).

" Britains Secret Health Tourists " . Nothing short of scandalous

are you suggesting its not all good as the government will have us believe, and they are good for our economy with all the currency they bring with them? as Tony had us believing, surely he would not tell fibs, oh well live and learn, the one thing I have learned is not to trust a politician that smiles a lot when the Country is in deep pooh, and especially when its of their causing. :( 8-)
