I have been a bit poorly for the past week or so and have been watching a re run of Frasier (from the 1st episode) on Channel 4 at 08:30 (ish), which is perhaps the best comedy ever to comes across the Atlantic (unless you would like to offer an alternative??)

I had forgotten how brilliant this programme is, with it's strong characters and fantastic script. I admit it's not for everyone, it's given me a chuckle or two since I have been off work. Unfortunately, I think I'll be back tomorrow, so will miss this excellent show

Sorry to hear you have been unwell SOT but I agree with you about Frasier. One of the sharpest comedy series ever produced.

What I'd like to see is a political (but not PC) sit com written by our Jim. That would be worth switching the TV on

Perhaps a cross between 'Dad's Army', 'The Thick of It' and 'Till Death us Do Part'

They already have on most channels, its named the news at 10, 6 o/c news Chanel 4 news cant help laughing. At 2 is the party political broadcasts, more like a quiz, should be re-named as guess what I really mean, or what we will really do. they are overpaid, underpreforming, that dont even know what a real days WORK is all about.
