There goes the Heritage.

Given that there is only one Vulcan still airworthy and that it was saved by donations to a Trust, I understand that it would now be impossible to restore a Concorde to airworthy condition at any time.


Our lot have just broken up 24 F-111s, 7 will be retained but the conditions put on their ownership are too restrictive to make it worthwhile.


We also just gave 4 C-130 Hercs. to Indonesia!

That is quite sad.

I remember watching Concorde taking off in the dark one evening when I was driving near Heathrow - what a sight! (and what a sound!)

Not here. But then it wasn't flying anymore when we moved here, so it might have been here previously. But hubby's flown to New York on it on a duty trip!
