Interesting documentary on the other evening about the late Dennis Healey.

One of the few politicians of note who actually served under fire and rose to a position to be able to influence the deployment of British troops into conflict zones. Healey was a major in the Royal Engineers during the Italy campaign and fought his way up the peninsular with our forces as well as being the UK beach master at the Anzio landings.

I mention it here as there was footage of Michael Foot who Healey fought for leadership of the Labour party and lost as he didn't campaign having thought he had it 'in the bag'. Footage of a very young Jeremy Corbyn stood next to Foot as his CND appearances.

The UK electorate dismissed Milliband as being too left wing in the May election why does Corbyn think he can alter that? By being more left wing?

I have a feeling history will not look favourable on this period of the Labour party. Make or break time unless they sort this out the UK is headed into a right of centre period.

He's a bit of an enigma.

His latest statement is that he is going back on a previous agreement to limit future spending so that the UK lives within its means.

What he is saying is SPEND SPEND SPEND ala Gordon Brown = disaster.
