Has anyone noticed how the attacks on UKIP have grown substantially in recent times, it's almost as if all the other parties and their politicians were saints and beyond reproach!
As we've said on here before, it's to be expected as the election draws nearer.

Not always successful though....

I await with interest LBC's disciplinary action/Statement censuring and dismissing Mr O'Brien.

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/d ... mes-obrien

Quote:
The talk radio station LBC has admitted a “regrettable and inexcusable error” after its presenter James O’Brien breached broadcasting rules in the run-up to the Clacton byelection, which was won by Ukip.

Although O’Brien did not mention Nigel Farage’s party by name in the broadcast on the day of the election on 9 October, he did refer to “an anti-immigration party is poised to win a seat in a constituency where there aren’t any immigrants”.

Media regulator Ofcom said the reference would have been “clearly understood by listeners as a reference to Ukip” and amounted to “discussion and analysis” of the vote when the polls had opened, which is prohibited under UK broadcasting rules.

Of course though in the true LibLabCon style the LBC ship will sail on as if nothing has happened.

The sad thing is that, in the main, they say what we think.

That's true as well.

The reason a few have defected to UKIP is because they have all stated that Cameron and crew have not followed up on so many manifesto items and they believe UKIP will do what they say. Go to agree.

A lot of Cameron's 2015 manifesto is stuff he promised last time.

Labour reckon they can clear the deficit in the same time frame by 2020 as the Tories but without cuts. In fact they plan to increase public spending. How does that work then, more tax ?
