Turned on the TV to watch BBC 'news' and the first two headlines were about 1) eating less meat & dairy products to help fight climate change, and, 2) the EU directive on reducing the power of vacuum cleaners and hair-dryers to help fight climate change!
Are the BBC trying to brainwash us?
I must watch another news channel, the news on BBC is becoming less like news every day that passes!

Makes you laugh. They want us to eat no more than 5 eggs a week to fight global warming but say we can eat as many chickens as we like. Work that one out! What morons.

But who would ever have believed they could make it ILLEGAL to buy a decent vacuum cleaner.

Expect eggs and meat to be rationed by the EU and UN in our lifetime, while the elite foisting this nonsense on us continue to jet around the world gorging themselves at their well guarded summits.

I consider the BBC to be the primary propaganda machine for the LibLabCon-EU-global warming/climate change-globalist agenda. Which is why I refuse to buy a TV License.

The BBC is not the only member of the main-stream-media that can't be trusted; we need our truth discriminators turned up to full sensitivity when accessing any of them.

Many years ago, when the USSR and East Germany were rigidly controlled political systems, I remember reading that it was common practice for the ordinary people living under those regimes to invert the 'news reports' broadcast by the state, in order to get a closer understanding of the truth. I think we need to be practising similar techniques with today's main-stream-media in Britain.

A latest example: The MSM is currently presenting Russia and Putin as the bad guys over the Ukraine. I think the truth is that the West; that is the EU, NATO, Britain (Cameron), USA (Obama), etc. are the expansionist bad guys looking for a war.

So while the EU is telling us we can't buy powerful vacuum cleaners or hair-dryers and must reduce our intake of meat and dairy products in order to combat 'climate change' .....

I read that the EU is going to ban 4-slice toasters because so often only 1 or 2 slices are toasted and energy is being wasted! Haven't these busy-bodies in Brussels got anything better to occupy their minds? There is poor-performing EU economies, Ukraine, the Middle East etc yet they want to micro-manage our freedom to buy what we want! Crazy.

It is very possible, even probable, that all new electrical items will have built-in connectivity to the “Internet of Things” (which is what IPV6 – Internet Protocol version 6 is all about), and will all be interrogated by so-called Smart Meters - if we foolishly permit the energy companies to install Smart Meters in our homes. We are NOT currently legally required to accept Smart Meters into our homes. But BG, so-called British Gas, are pushing Smart Meters like crazy - now there's an organisation that has positively demonstrated its total commitment to greed and ripping-off customers.

I believe Smart Meters have three primary purposes, none of which are to our benefit.

Primary purposes as I see them:
1: To control the price of energy dependent on demand and time of day – a constant price rise that makes domestic budgeting impossible.

2: To monitor/spy on our homes and private lives.

3: To impair our health, and increase the levels of lethargy and despondency in the wider population through the effects of microwave energy on our nervous systems. Dumbed-down, lethargic, despondent, and sick people are more easily controlled.
