The 1st November, the day the British government becomes a glorified county council.

Don't they realise that the 1st Nov is when they are pointless ?

Of course they do....

But Shhhhhh... The proles are not allowed to know.

Makes the scenario yesterday all the more laughable. CMD clearly called in a few favours to get the new bods on the EU commission to say nice things about the UK's desire for negotiation.

That will be the EU commission which is bound by QMV. EU exit is one of the 43 policy areas that will be subject to QMV come November.

Cameron is desperate to play for time...

The first opinion polls are out for Clacton. If it stays like this Cameron won't be leading the Tories into the 2015 General Election.

Very good figures if they follow it through at the polls, assuming they vote.

Waiting for Cameron's speech if he loses
