I'm working from home tomorrow. I do hope I get the door knockers coming round. I've got just the thing to tell each of the main 3 to let them know that UKIP has my vote and why.

As you say, they are so scared of UKIP's rise that they are trying everything to smear them. I think it's working in reverse as 'the people' can see right through it.

Here's a new one from UKIP:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkzKCZgIbxs

While I think there are a few little white lies in there, I agree with the gist of it.

Without wanting to be wholly negative and solely anti something, as an alternative I would be pro something such as the trade agreement which is currently being negotiated with Canada and the EU, the CETA:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comprehensive_Economic_and_Trade_Agreement

So we leave the EU, take a photocopy of the above, search and replace Canada for UK, job done. All the social and political 'ever closer union' done away with in one stroke and we can continue focusing on trade.

As the election broadcast they quoted independent sources for the points they claimed. Figures and facts not made up by them and simply put out there.

Looks like the recent attempt by LibLabCon to label them racist has badly backfired.

http://yougov.co.uk/news/2014/04/24/vot ... ot-racist/

Yougov sampled 2000 persons on their view of the UKIP posters and message. Most were in favour.

To geezer466, I'm not having a go at UKIP, just the thing about the fishery discards didn't sound right (after watching Hugh's Fish Fight), and also the thing about the ECHR was true but if we left the EU and remained a signatory to the ECHR we would still have the same problem. Incidentally if we cancelled our involvement in the ECHR I wonder what the EU would actually do about it - kick us out? Doubtful.

What irks me about the EU are two things, firstly the parliament is nothing of the sort, it cannot propose or cancel legislation, merely rubber stamp it after it has been handed down by the unelected commission - this is completely undemocratic and the UK should not support this kind of institution. Secondly the grand scheme of 'ever closer union' is not something I want to be a part of, and political parties in the UK saying they are against it but going along with it anyhow.

It's UKIP all the way for me, I'm not interested in sham referendums which will be manipulated if they ever happen, with UKIP in power it with be straight to invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty and we'll be on our way TYVM.

We need to get out of the EU and the ECHR, both cause serious issues for Britain. As for the European Parliament, what a joke, it's more like the old Soviet parliament, 'rubber-stampers' everyone of them - it's sham democracy and we Britons with the Magna Carta as part of our history should be ashamed to be part of it.
I agree with much of Bermudan's postings. Well said Bermudan.

One of the latest EU directives could be the scrapping of individual country vehicle number plates. Out would go personalised jobs and in would come a EU wide system so you could be fined for speeding all across the EU.

If someone clones your plates try fighting that one

I agree with you Bermudan. There is also another major issue I have with the EU. The EU is criminal, it has not had its accounts properly audited and signed off in over 18 years. And the British Government continues to hand over taxpayers' money to this illegal organisation. I consider this to be malfeasance on the part of successive British Governments.

From: http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictiona ... alfeasance

Quote:
Malfeasance: The commission of an act that is unequivocally illegal or completely wrongful.
Malfeasance is a comprehensive term used in both civil and Criminal Law to describe any act that is wrongful. It is not a distinct crime or tort, but may be used generally to describe any act that is criminal or that is wrongful and gives rise to, or somehow contributes to, the injury of another person.
Not only are successive UK governments taking money off the 'taxpayer' and handing that money over to a foreign power that does not have the approval of the British people, it is an illegal foreign power. An action on behalf of successive British governments and their employees that is wilfully injuring every taxpayer in the land.

We should be allowed a referendum on leaving. We managed perfectly well before. It is now just a huge gravy train for unelected bellends (like the Kinnocks?) who couldn't get a job flipping burgers in the real World and is now, with it and the US actions in Ukraine, lining us up for WWIII.

Ukraine, Georgia and the Baltic states are naturally part of the Russian and previous to that (soviet) sphere of influence. There was never any problem prior to the early 1990's and the breakup of the USSR, Russia had free movement across all their borders back then.

Because the corrupt EU are looking to enlarge their empire East we are slowly but surely being dragged into another war.

Oh, and just imagine if you were a Cypriot with a decent amount of savings in the bank for your later years. Not any more. And it could happen here.

The EU is a corrupt undemocratic fascist organisation with ambitious plans to expand its centralised power & influence not just economically or politically but also geographically - witness how quickly it brought eastern European states in regardless of the initial 'tests' they used to set before a state could become a member - it was all about expansion. Ukraine due to its location is a dangerous place to play games and if the EU isn't careful it could possible, with the encouragement of the US, start a war - the only saving grace so far is that the 27 member states find it difficult to agree on a response policy towards the crisis but they are pushing to get a EU army, air force and navy established. The sooner we get out of the EU the better.

Will put this link here as it resonates with both the way UKIP has been treated over the last few Months and why so many people have lost faith in the system.

All of the points apply to the US most to us here in the UK.
