I suspect that this bill is going to come as a very rude shock to a very large number of people across this land. Could we see a replay of the kind of revolt that we saw against the poll-tax?
Below, the “Scope of the Scheme” includes basic life-skills, that many of us would find it difficult to disagree with. But is it wise that the state should adopt the role of parent/guardian/overseer of all young people?
Quote:
2 Scope of the scheme
(1) Regulations shall provide that the scheme must extend the scope of the National Citizen Service and include the following elements—
(a) educational assistance for those participants who have yet to attain basic educational requirements of reading and writing in English and mathematics;
(b) coaching and instruction to attain basic levels of physical fitness, personal discipline, smart appearance, self respect and respect for others;
(c) instruction in personal financial budgeting, household bills, nutrition, cooking, time keeping, life skills
, tolerance towards others, treating elderly and disabled people with dignity and respect; and
(d) instruction in basic aspects of the law in relation to the most common offences involving young people.
(2) Regulations shall also provide that the scheme shall include—
(a) a residential element, requiring that participants live away from home; and
(b) an element of public service, comprising one or more of the following to be chosen by the individual—
(i) charitable work,
(ii) social action,
(iii) care for the elderly or disabled,
(iv) overseas development activity, or
(v) work connected with the National Health Service, the
emergency services or the Armed Forces.
For decades, the state, under the governance of all three Lib/Lab/Con parties, has deliberately under-mined the role and authority of the traditional family. Parents have had their authority over their own children deliberately challenged by the state. Now, when all that political destruction of parental authority and responsibility has borne fruit – the state steps in wiith the '
cure' as the self-appointed guardian of our children and grandchildren, and quietly reveals its plan to indoctrinate our children with undefined dogma, under the force of law.
Both sections (1) and (2) of the above quote contain a lot that could well be 'double-speak', possibly containing hidden intentions and purposes.
Section (2) of the above quote titled, “
Regulations shall provide that the scheme shall include-”, in no way fully limits what the state can or will do to young people under its charge. What is NOT in that list above is what concerns me. For example: What does “work with the Armed Forces” really entail? Are we in effect seeing the back-door conscription for military service in support of a rogue corporatist globalist (Fascist) government?
The UK Government is engaged in “Nudging” us into accepting its own political mind-set. Here is the link to its web-page
https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... ights-teamThe Unit goes under the name of “Behavioural Insights Team”, and on its first page acknowledges that it is referred to as the “Nudge Unit”. A 'nudge unit' is to 'nudge' our thinking until we accept the 'correct' political mind-set, and become good obedient citizens of our 'elitist superiors'.
Given the inherent deceit and untrustworthiness of the political elite, this National Service scheme could turn out to be the UK's version of the Hitler Youth. And we all should know where that led to in its care of the sick, weak, elderly, and 'socially undesirable'. Be aware of the Liverpool Pathway to death.
The bottom line for me is:
Do we trust the political elite, who have more than proven their greed and untrustworthiness by their close to unanimous abuse of their expenses?
Do we trust the elitists who have underhandedly given the UK away to a foreign power in the guise of the EU - without reference to the British people?
Do we trust a political elite that constantly feeds us the lie that man-released carbon dioxide is responsible for changing the global climate?
Does the 'integrity' of our political class inspire our fullest confidence in them?
If we answer 'NO' to any of the above questions; then why should we trust the same deceivers with our young people? Or put it another way; why should our young people themselves trust the political class – many of whom have some very serious questions to answer regarding paedophilia?
