we all know they have not the recourses to do that, its the 60% thing, as long as 60% get it right then if it aint broke you don't mend it. its all about money, if the income don't exceed the expenditure by a certain amount then its a no no.

I see Park Road has had the infernal things laid down over the last few weeks!!

The point here is these streets have a 30mph compulsory speed limit. Some would argue (and I would agree) that within 200 metres (either side) of school entrances this should be 20mph.
On the main drags they can install camera's to deter speeding, on the minor roads they cannot, hence the speed bumps.

Bottom line is they used to have policemen to enforce the limits on all roads. Now they don't, expect to see much more of this in the future.

The new slopes are MUCH better.

I agree with you SOT. Get the police back out on the streets, and out of their panda cars.
