Another Atos medical assessment story, this time in Private Eye.

This poor guy with a deteriorating ankle disease was assessed as "having no apparent difficulty on stairs". He had his benefits cut. His appeal was unsuccessful despite the DWP admitting there were no stairs at the assessment centre and calling that an 'error'.

With a huge cut in his meager income, the guy became depressed. Luckily (?) a subsequent claim has restored his benefits. Not as they were wrong to cut it the first time, but as his (Atos induced) depression gave him a higher score. You couldn't make it up could you?

Unbelievable.

This Atos mob need sacking. This must surely be a good story for Watchdog or similar ?

Sadly, there is no chance of that happening until there is a complete clean out of the corrupt party system and the accommodating MPs that make up Parliament. We need another Oliver Cromwell type person, and we need him/her urgently.

Like I've said many times before, I will never again be putting my X against Lab / Tory / Lib Dem

They are happy to call it a democracy, where by getting the vote of 40%, from the 40%, who voted making a total of 16%, of the total, just shows how far removed from reality we have been taken, and its called democracy, just because you don't HAVE to vote, the right to abstain, makes it such, time we woke up, stood up and get counted.
