Did we ever discover a good plumber ?

A few of my neighbours have reported their hot water cylinders have needed replacing in recent years and I think it may be wise to get mine replaced sooner than later.

Gareth, the plumber has been absolutely brilliant.

His number is 07976 715466 and the name of the company is M J Williams. I can thoroughly recommend them (they're from Hayes)

:D :D :D

Oh... I shall keep that number handy! I often seem to need a plumber, usually for boiler/radiator issues.

Thanks

I've so far had 2 replies, one has quoted £700 and the other reckons my copper 'indirect' hot water cylinder should have a life of over 50 to 60 years so my neighbour must be unlucky. His advice was to leave it as is.

Funnily enough MJ Williams appears in the list of WhichLocal recommended plumbers :)

Gareth is the one who came to us and he was excellent. He really did go the extra mile (our meter was leaking gas so he had to get it changed)

I had a word with him about your job and he told me to pass on his mobile number to you. We had a new boiler, new shower and a replacement stopcock and really would thoroughly recommend him.

they're polite, friendly and clean up after themselves :D

;) one of our taps was dripping so he got his apprentice to fix it for us. I told you he went the extra mile ....

It must have been something to do with the constant tea and biscuits they got :D
