Are you interested in becoming an apprentice or, if you are an employer, taking one on? Uxbridge College will be holding special information sessions as part of National Apprenticeship Week, 6-10 February. The drop-in sessions are being held for individuals who may want to become apprentices, and employers who might want to take someone on. These take place: at the college’s Uxbridge campus in Park Road, Uxbridge, from Monday (February 6) to Thursday (February 9) 10am-7pm and Friday (Feb 10) 10am-4pm; at The Skills Store in The Mall Pavilions shopping centre, Uxbridge Monday–Friday (Feb 6-10) 9am–5pm. A free 4-week course called ‘Get into Apprenticeship’ is also on offer and includes help preparing for interviews and skills training in customer service and IT. Uxbridge College can also help employers and job hunters match up apprentices with vacancies. • For more information call 01895 853333 or go to http://www.uxbridgecollege.ac.uk |
