ever feel the need to park right outside the shops on a double yellow line without the worry of getting a ticket ?.
well here is how,get a beaten up old jap car,toyota is best,remove the tax disc and park with impunity outside or near your local mosque on a friday,double parking and in bus lanes is also exempt.
you wont get a ticket as the wardens will be inside the mosque and plod are too PC to do anything about it :roll:

I assume vlad has experience of this. Re the police, parking offences were decriminalised some years ago, so it's not a matter for them.

in what way was that post stupid ?,it is based on what i see and plod can get involved when busses cant pass and the road comes to a standstill.

I assumed that you were describing a situation you see occur, so I don't think it was stupid. Sounds more like a local scandal and one which ought to be sorted out.

That situation used to regularly happen in Cowley Mill Road too. I don't know if it still happens there (hubby left work three years ago)
