John .. I agree that poems we write can be like keeping a diary of our life and can reflect happy and sad times. Thankyou for sharing some of yours. The poem about Jerry, your blind cat, had me thinking all day about Daisy, our own blind cat. I found a photo of her and some poems and writings about her and other past pets.
