So you think you have had a challenging day in the office? How about this for an interesting puzzle to unpick?? From Cumbria Fire Service new pages.......................................... Bull rescued from tree in Thrimby (Eden) 28 Aug 2012 At 13:39 fire and rescue crews received a call reporting a 300kg (47 stone) bull stuck in a tree, overhanging a 10m drop, in Sheriff Park, Thrimby. Two crews from Penrith and one from Shap attended the scene. Utilising working at height equipment, firefighters used an animal strop and sling to stabilise and support the bull, which was then lifted down from the tree with telescopic heavy plant machinery. |
