Just flicking through the channels, and there's some drama on BBC2 (called Felicia's Journey). Pretty sure the scene that's just been on showed Bob Hoskins sitting just outside the maternity unit at Hillingdon Hospital (even though he's speaking Brummie and the girl he was talking to had an Irish accent.) |

It always amuses me that the average TV show hospital ward is better equipped, over staffed with nurses and doctors and interns who have time to gossip and have affairs etc., easier to get into and treated than any hospital on the planet. (with the possible exception of Nurse Jackie) No matrons like Hattie Jaques. |

Cameras in HH A&E Hope they carry a load of film. Last few times we've been there it's been a 2 hour wait in reception, then they shuffle you to either the racetrack or minor injuries where another long wait is the norm. Felt sorry for a Polish guy who had had a building site fall and was clearly in a lot of pain. They stuck him on a bed and ignored his wailing for at least half an hour whilst there was a gaggle of doctors in the central area 'socialising'. |
