It was Lady Elanor's handbag, and as he knelt to pick it up, the weight of Lady Elanor carried the two of them down the stairs to sprawl across the hall ending up at the feet of a very surprised, and embarrassed butler.

Jackie said to herself that she won't touch the cooking sherry again, her head was spinning and looking across she saw something or somebody in the bed beside her that she didn't recognise.

Suddenly it came to her, that he was the man she was dancing with when he had begun making very crude and unpleasant remarks to he,r she had just let him have the full force of her fists and kicks until she was hauled off , and then she passed put.

"Nooooooooo!!!!" screamed Jackie, waking again from her slumber, "I've done it again.... fallen back to sleep after the alarm's gone off" shrieking so loud she woke her husband who didn't have to be up for work today as it was a Saturday.

Her husband concerned at her out burst , got up and made her a cup of tea and took it to her in bed , unfortunately tripping over her discarded robe on the floor and spilt the tea upon the lovely silk bedspread.

Getting up from the tea-soaked bed Jackie quickly got dressed and headed downstairs to the kitchen and as she sat down with a cup of coffee she suddenly realised that the Rabbi was due to call that morning.
