| Post subject: | Carols by trumpet on Christmas morn |
When we lived in Church Road in the 70s, every Christmas morning there was the wonderful sound of someone round in Second Avenue, out in his garden, playing Christmas carols on his trumpet. Mum & Dad tell me his name was Mr Austin, a member of the Salvation Army, who had a son called Trevlyan. It made Christmas morning very Christmassy! |
