Post subject:  Brilliant baby monitor!!
Wow, technology is so wonderful.

Dad and I have been busy in the garage and needed to be able to keep an eye on and communicate with mum when we're there (she has no short-term memory).

I popped into a shop called "Mama's & Papa's" and bought a Motorola baby monitor for £70. We get a live video picture and clear sound even though there's another house between us and the garage.

We can talk to mum and it's loud and clear and she can talk to us without having to press any buttons or anything.

Dad can take it with him to the bathroom etc as well as when he goes in there mum of course has no idea where he's gone.

When ours was young we didn't need a baby monitor, she could make herself heard through a padded cell. :lol:

We went through 18 months of hell until we discovered that Hillingdon tap water was causing her to not sleep. Once we discovered this and switched her to bottled water she slept like a - 'baby' :) The change was almost overnight.

How did we discover this ?
When we visited the in-laws in Malvern she slept all night, just when here she slept in shifts of about an hour or two a go. Malvern water is considerably softer and better than ours.
