Cameron makes me laugh when he shouts out that he only has the interests of Britain at heart !!!!! Unless he changes his parties thoughts and actions I doubt he will get back in again. There will likely be a Labour protest vote and then we are going to drown in debt. |

As I see it most people are getting wise to both tory and liebour, they are very fast becoming a dirty word, the pace is gathering from the new kids on the block, who seem to have their finger on the pulse, maybe not so much on what we want, but more on what we dont want, and may well get it right come 2015, we are fast becoming disenchanted with traditional parties, and the old I will vote xxx because my dad always voted xxx is fading out, people are more aware nowadays, one thing certain after all these years change is needed, from if your standing is well off, vote (A) if you work for a living vote (B) folk are getting wise, more than ever home issues are the prime mover, we have seen our Country, sold off, by one party, or given away by another party, that is now fragmented into pockets of different cultures, gone are the days of Great Britain when we stood shoulder to shoulder with our neighbour, as now we dont even understand what he is saying. We have been sold down the river, and time for change, for the Englishman who once had a castle for a home, and a pot to pist in, to wake up and take notice, the traditional are all the same, me,me,me, lets free ourselves from the political dogma, and vote for England, and whats best for the Brits. before its too late, its a close run thing at the moment, as the so called do gooders are importing more and more into their cause for cheap labour at the Countries expense. Its time to re-arm with more troops in SW1 to stem the invasion. just think first. |

I've always noted that, according to publicity, it's not the Gov who rule but the senior civil servants ala Yes Minister. I would love to be a fly on the wall when a civil servant tried telling Nigel Farage what he can't do, ie stop/reduce payment to Brussels and Foreign Aid |

Read into that what you will but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. An example... Over the weekend some senior Tories went on the record to say that the UK may withdraw from the European Convention of Human Rights and repeal the HR Act. All very well and good until you examine it alongside their other policy. They could repeal the HR Act but that means diddly squat as the UK Government would still be beholden and have to observe the judgements of the European Courts of Human Rights. Everyone who has a Human Rights Beef can seek leave to appeal to this court and this would almost certainly be granted. Now of course they could be talking about withdrawal from the European Convention meaning the ECHR would lose any legal basis it has in the UK but to do so would necessitate withdrawal from the EU as membership of the Convention is a pre requisite requirement for being in the EU. Last time I checked the Tories have no such plan to withdraw from the EU, quite the opposite in fact. Some wishy washy promise about a referendum but the stated view is the leadership would campaign to stay in Also worth pointing out that there is nothing wrong with the Convention and post 1945 (a lot of the work was done beforehand) this was probably Churchill's greatest post war achievement. Left leaning Liberal judges hijacked the establishment with perverse judgements. So what do we have, a Tory party who seem to be getting tough on the ECHR and Human Rights but the reality is this is far from the truth. They are deliberately obfuscating the language to make them sound tough and that they intend to do something when the reality is they cannot actually do anything unless there is complete withdrawal from the EU. To be honest I am surprised that most right wing Tories swallowed it. I though most were more intelligent that that.... So once again it brings us back to UKIP. Not the answer not by any length of chalk but it's a start.......... Edit to Add...... Frank Field good old socialist MP and he can see the dangers..... |
