****High Risk Missing Person - Hayes Middx
Hayes, Hillingdon
Hillingdon Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety and welfare of a missing man from Hayes in Middx.
Michael Hewitt, 76, was last seen by his wife at their home address in Hayes. He went missing on Monday 4 February, at approximately 5.30am.
Mr Hewitt is described as a white man, 6’ tall and of a medium build. He has thinning grey hair.
He is believed to be wearing gold rimmed glasses, black slip on shoes, blue denim jeans, blue bomber jacket and a blue top underneath.
Mr Hewitt suffers from dementia and may appear confused. He has difficulty communicating with people. He is known to travel on foot in Hayes and may have travelled up to the Uxbridge area.
DI Stephen O'Connor of Hillingdon CID said: "We are very concerned for this vulnerable man. I appeal to the public to assist us in tracing him. Anyone who has seen Michael or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Hillingdon police without delay."
