In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood gained power. Within a very short time their leader, Mossi, passed a decree giving him sole power to make important decisions, now reversed due to protests. In time, with the UK population ethnicity fast reversing, could that happen here ? |

The biggest threat to democracy isn't Islam, it's Brussels and Strasbourg. |

It has served us well for hundreds of years with just a few tweaks here and there. No generation is entitled to scrap it all we do it look after it and pass it down to the youngers. In any event it is one of the roles of the monarchy to protect it and one I would hope HMQ and her heirs would take very seriously. Unless the Monarch signs a bill it does not pass into law. Of course in the general run of things this is never a problem. |

Boris is clearly positioning himself for a leadership challenge on the issue of a referendum probably when CMD gets bashed to smithereens at the next General Election. He sees the very genuine threat of the Tory vote being split between UKIP who are now being reported as the third party of UK politics. (The bonus is Clegg and his Ilk are forever cast into the wilderness). Every day whilst the Euro zone implodes Greece, Spain and France go bankrupt are bringing us closer to the in/out question. Very firmly now it is a question of when, not if when the British people will be consulted on our future within the Euro project. The Eurozone is doomed, it always has been since it's very conception, it is very simply a matter of time. |
