I am not unsympathetic to some of the viewpoints expressed in the video. It is however important to take it all in context. The broadcaster was http://www.cbn.com/ Who at first impression look like a mainstream US/Canadian news broadcaster. But deeper interrogation of their web site reveals..... Quote: CBN is a global ministry committed to preparing the nations of the world for the coming of Jesus Christ through mass media. Using television and the Internet, CBN is proclaiming the Good News in 136 countries, with programs and content translated into 42 languages. So this is in fact a Christian good news message broadcaster whose intent in making the video seems to be to slow down/eradicate the possible implementation if Sharia law. Yes there is a problem with a minority of the Muslim population but can we tar a whole a whole community with that same brush? It is clear the vast majority of UK Muslims oppose these minority views. The security services have a close eye on the ones they need to have and following 7/7 it has their highest priorities.... |

Top post Geezer. It was clear that the TV show was an extremist Christian show, whose views are as about as poisonous as the extremists Muslims they refer to in their film. This is the danger of the net. People seem to believe everything on it to an extent far more than they would if it were any other media. Thanks for doing that research and revealing the origins of this clip |
