What's the big fuss?
You can refuse to take part if you:
> use snail mail,
> shop locally with cash,
> get paid in cash,
> dump your mobile phone (or use pay as you go & change it weekly),
> avoid the web - especially the cloud,
> refuse loyalty cards,
> cut up any credit or debit card
> bin your Oyster
> burn your cheque book
> scrap your car, or motorbike to avoid ANPR
> use bin bags and not chipped wheelie bins
> fail to collect any pension or family allowance etc
and live as a recluse in outer Mongolia (travelling by stowing away on a cargo ship to avoid your passport being swiped)
It really isn't that difficult
