If anybody takes advice from an unfunny junkie fcukwit with a mockney accent, then they don't deserve the vote in the first place. Brand was reasonably funny when he was a junkie but he has got worse since then... Milliband however does have a point. All the while multinationals are mobile they will up sticks and move to the jurisdiction of lowest taxes. Look at France, Hollande introduced a punitive rate of tax for the top 2% of French citizens so they all moved to London and bought property here (contributing to the out of control HPI in the capital). This is policy Labour and to a far more radical extent the Greens are keen on.. Like it or lump it that's just the way things are globalisation is not a solution to all this, it is the fundamental problem behind it. Brand should use some of his intelligence and realise that.. |

I cannot stand Brand either. Neither can I stand Miliband, Cameron, Clegg, Bennett, or the Sturgeon/Salmond twins; they are all globalists at heart who are working towards a one-world government that is to have a mix of Marxism and fascism. Actually, that video probably shows Miliband at his most revealing and least deceitful presentation yet. As I say, I can't stand Brand, but at least he's managed to chip some of the veneer from Miliband. |

Churchill was the last UK PM who presided over a global power, today's UK is a Yank vassal state that's not even the most important country in Europe and can't even produce a washing machine. I know Russell Brand may not be everyone's cup of tea, but look beyond the accent, vocabulary, wild hair and skinny jeans and at least he's putting out ideas and making people think, what's wrong with that? Are David Beckham or Ant and Dec going to do that, I don't think so, in fact most of the LibLabCon referred to don't even do that either. |

If Brand is so passionate about the subject then the framework is there for him to do something, start a political party and recruit people to the cause. Unfortunately because very few people want what he does then the movement will quickly fail, and this is the issue. It's much easier to shout from the sidelines; everyone could do better than a footballer on match day, but if they were actually invited onto the pitch they'd fail miserably. This is what Brand wants to avoid - to publicly fail when very few people beyond teenagers and social activists actually agree with him. |

Don't think it's true that few people want what he does, opinion polls regularly show that people don't want overseas imperial adventures, tuition fees, privatised rail operators, money grubbing energy companies and pretty much all the other neoliberal wank that's been imposed on us from above since the late 70's, if the Tories of the McMillan / Heath era came back under a different guise they'd receive no corporate funding and be dismissed by the corporate media as sixth-form leftie dreamers pretty much the way RB gets slated. |

Brand isn't the point. Miliband making a pillock of himself talking in a faux down wid da yoof manner is the point. |

It probably illustrates the scale of the disillusioned, disinterested electorate he's trying to get to, one thing that crossed my mind is the way he's gone to Brand feels like the reverse of how someone like Noel Gallagher who was big at the time went to Blair back in 1997. |
