Energy minister charters private plane to fly him from Scotland to London after talks about combating climate change!!! Whilst this is ironic beyond belief, it wasn't a complete was of public money as he got two FO chums to share the costs - That's alright then! Talking the talk but not walking the walk. The lot of them are hypocritical wnkers with an inflated sense of entitlement. None of the mainstream parties deserve to rule. |

The Parliament of elected representatives should have the power to decide policies, not parties, nor executives. The executive (government) should be obeying Parliament in the SERVICE of, and according to the will of the people. Today we have a closed-shop dictatorship that very effectively ignores the people and their wishes. Parliament has become an empty shell - a sham; where members have allowed themselves to be reduced to expensive over-paid party lobby-fodder. The people/electorate are only required to play a rather dubious role at election time, where false promises and downright lies are handed out by the political class like sweeties to a dumbed-down electorate. Today we have the executive (government) telling Parliament AND the people what to do. The people are viewed as useless eaters and serfs, and Parliament is regarded as a necessary evil to convince the electorate that the people live in a democracy. Cameron's Bill to redefine marriage is the perfect example of the executive forcing through dictatorial and undemocratic 'rules'/laws that were NEVER put before the people/electorate. The last five years of coalition 'government' should serve as a real eye-opener for all of us. Coalitions mean that all pre-election promises are immediately declared null and void at the forming of the coalition goverment. And the signs are that all the parties are currently aiming to form another coalition; only this time it is very likely to be a coalition of more than two parties. Then we will have an even stronger self-appointed dictatorship 'ruling' over us. |

Ironic: yes. Beyond belief: no. Par for the course like Charles using a chopper for his leisure trips hours after delivering a green sermon. This PROVES they don't believe a word of it themselves, and they should know. |
