I did a rail trip from West Drayton to Hayes only yesterday and they are putting more tracks in. Presumably Crossrail. What did puzzle me is that the new line, to the north of the existing track, has plenty of room for a mile or so with new groundworks but then comes to an abrupt halt with narrow bridges and buildings in the way so I'm not sure how they are going to manage that. |
