Guilty until proven innocent: HMRC are to be given powers to take money on 'suspicion' that tax is owed. It will then be up to the taxpayer to prove their innocence. This is Government AGAINST the people. Cinderella law: This is an direct and full frontal attack on families. Who is to judge what constitutes “emotional cruelty”? Going by every other application of political correctness “emotional cruelty” will mean anything that can justify taking children into State care. This legislation has the potential to pit every child against their parents – whenever a child is refused anything or corrected by the parents then the charge of “emotional cruelty” can kick-in. This is Government AGAINST the people. Plastic carrier bag tax: This represents Governmental bullying – live as we say or pay our demands. This nonsense comes straight out of the UN's Agenda 21. This is Government AGAINST the people. Garden Cities: Again, this is unadulterated Agenda 21 in action. The plan is to force people into 'green cities' where they are totally and easily controlled. This is Government AGAINST the people. Freedom for energy companies to frack: This law will effectively destroy our homes and communities and force us to live in the “Garden Cities” and the planned “Smart Cities” that the EU has lined up for us. This is Government AGAINST the people. The contradiction of the Governments 'green' credentials in this Queen's Speech are staggering in their extremes. The Government claims that carrier bags are an environmental issue that must be stamped out in order to protect the environment. And yet, the same Government is prepared to grant freedom for energy companies to frack wherever they like with no regard or protection for the environment. This is Government AGAINST the people. Fracking will destroy our environment, our homes, and our communities. The water supplies will become polluted with highly toxic fracking fluid; the air will be polluted with all kinds of mineral particles – including the possibility of radioactive gas and dust; the land will become unusable for farming or the growing of food supplies; and human health will suffer badly due to the land, water, and air pollution of our environment. The first and primary duty of government is to protect the people and their country. This Government is planning to legislate diametrically against those primary responsibilities on the lie that fracking will bring lower energy costs. The fracking outrage about to be unleashed against us represents nothing less than chemical warfare by the Government against its own people. And our Government likes to claim that President Assad of Syria uses chemical weapons against his own people. The hypocrisy of the UK political elite is staggering. Shades of Chilcot run all through the LibLabCon and the Establishmen - deciet, lies, and cover-ups. The recent EU and local elections highlighted the two major concerns of the electorate are uncontrolled immigration and membership of the monster EU. Neither of these concerns are in the Queen's speech - so much for the listening ear of the political elite who claim they have heard the message. I hope they recieve a stronger message at the Newark election today. |

Just indicates how far removed the politicians are from 'real people' - they harp on about 'listening' to us, they've 'got the message', etc to which I reply b*****ks! |

The Daily Mirror appears to be waking up to the dangers of fracking: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/fr ... er-3643966 Quote: Fracking poses a much bigger risk of water contamination in Britain than the US, an expert has warned.
David Smythe, Professor of Geophysics at the University of Glasgow, says those citing the US as an example of where fracking has worked are ignoring a fundamental difference to here. His research suggests there are 400 more fault lines beneath the surface in the UK, dramatically increasing the risk of gas and oil leaking into water sources or to the surface. The warning comes as the Government is expected to use today’s Queen’s Speech to make it easier to allow shale gas exploration firms to drill beneath private property without needing the owners’ permission. |
