Apparently Labour don't know the meaning of nepotism. It looks like Bob Ainsworth (remember him) Coventry north east or Geoffrey Robinson Coventry north west is going to give up his seat at the next election and wait for it here are three of the potential candidates;

1) Euan Blair who has supposed to have moved to Coventry.. Probably better known for being picked up in Leic Sq drunk and disorderly.

2) Will Straw. Handy for his dads visits to Stratford. Remember the embarrassing weed issue when his old man (as home sec) had to take him down the nick.

3) David Prescott. Nobody told his dad they don't make Jaguars in Coventry any more. Dad famous for 2 jags and a hairdo...

During the Blair age Coventry lost it car manufacturing, what was left of textiles and the telecoms sector. The town center is pound land paradise the "new" PFI hospital has a very poor reputation and to cap it all the football club is just about surviving after a free fall through the divisions.

Despite all this both the above mentioned constituencies and Hayes to for that matter would vote for Jimmy Saville if they dug him up and put a red rosette on him.
