http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2337774/Is-proof-Virgin-Queen-imposter-drag-Shocking-new-theory-Elizabeth-I-unearthed-historic-manuscripts.html Quote: The bones of Elizabeth I, Good Queen Bess, lie mingled with those of her sister, Bloody Mary, in a single tomb at Westminster Abbey. But are they really royal remains — or evidence of the greatest conspiracy in English history? If that is not the skeleton of Elizabeth Tudor, the past four centuries of British history have been founded on a lie. And according to a controversial new book, the lie began on an autumn morning 470 years ago, when panic swept through a little group of courtiers in a manor house in the Cotswold village of Bisley in Gloucestershire. Classic example of media manipulation.... A book is written asserting good Queen Bess was actually a bloke and a common one at that. Publicity is courted thru the national press. Book goes on to be made into a film. The book is founded on the principle Dan Brown employed with his Da Vinci Code where an assertion was made Christ married had kids and the bloodline lives on today. Even if they never get as far as opening the Tomb in the Abbey the publicity they seek has already been served. |

Its complete and utter bunkum....... An invented story to publicise a book and possibly a media offering to follow. Perhaps the Mail was offered a short serialization to run the claims? The writer is cashing in on the identification and press interest of the bones of Richard Third in Leicester.. |
