Here are two reports identifying the links between Google, the Bilderbergers, and the UK political elite.

This is from the mainline media, the Daily Mail. Whilst not specifically linking Google with the Bilderbergers, this report does mention the secret Google Zeitgeist Global Summit gatherings, but does not link that meeting to the Bilderbergers.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... n-row.html
Quote:
achel Whetstone, Google’s top global spinner, is a former No 10 aide and was Michael Howard’s director of communications when he was Tory leader.
She is married to Steve Hilton, the T-shirt-wearing guru who is Mr Cameron’s close friend and former director of strategy at No 10.
The power couple are regarded as key members of the Notting Hill set of Conservatives who propelled Mr Cameron to Downing Street, and at one stage Miss Whetstone was known as their queen.
Meanwhile the Prime Minister is godfather to Miss Whetstone’s younger son, and Mr Hilton was godfather to Ivan Cameron, the late eldest child of David and Samantha.
The links do not end there, for Google has been assiduous at forging close ties at every level of Government.
It is not just a case of former government policy wonks exiting through Westminster’s ‘revolving door’ to Google – it works the other way too.
Amy Fisher was once Google’s PR chief for European affairs, but now she has bagged a job advising Justice Secretary Chris Grayling.
And nor is it just Conservative politicians to whom Google offers the bosom of friendship. Sarah Hunter, the internet giant’s head of public policy in the UK, is a former media adviser to Tony Blair.
And a lobbying veteran named D. J. Collins – a close friend of David Miliband and well-connected in New Labour circles – has in recent years been Google’s European director of communications.
Google spends a fortune on political lobbying, and politicians from all parties lap up the Google brand, delighted to be associated with its hip image.
Before becoming Prime Minister, Mr Cameron spoke to the annual Google Zeitgeist conference in 2006 and 2007.

This report from the alternative media does link Google and the Bilderbergers.

Google’s ‘Pre-Bilderberg’ Summit
This past week witnessed another major global conference held at the very same Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire. The parallels to Bilderberg are striking – they share the same guests, the same venue, observe similar codes on conduct, and no doubt have similar items on their agenda. Google’s ‘Zeitgeist’ Global Summit, or “Big Tent” event, is effectively the internet’s version of a ‘Digital Davos’, where ‘the best and the brightest’ are invited to hear debates and keynote speeches from the likes of Bill Clinton, UK Chancellor George Osborne, UK Labour Party leader Ed Miliband and other celebrities including Stephen Hawking.
It’s worth pointing out here that both Osborne and Miliband have played the role of Google’s adversary in public during their corporation tax row, yet they are the corporation’s VIP guests in private.
Beyond the high profile talks and entertainment, there were of course, some serious discussion about ‘big ideas’ taking place under the big tent. This year’s event also required participants to observe ‘Chatham House Rules’, meaning key conversations should be held in the strictest of confidence and not be leaked to the outside world. As with Bilderberg, Google’s Big Tent discusses serious global changes that affect present and future generations - all behind closed doors.
Other persons of note at this year’s Google retreat were former US attorney general and Bush legal brain, Alberto Gonzales, alongside former Secretary of State Hillary ‘innovation’ adviser, Alec Ross, key Putin advisor Arkady Dvorkovich, and Swedish foreign affairs minister, Carl Bildt (Bilderberg attendee 2006-2012). The profile of Google and Bilderberg guests has seen an incredible overlap in recent years, which is a testament to the corporation’s own stated ambition to achieve a global dominion, not only over its marketplace, but over cultural and political life as well. The reality in 2013 is that Google is poised to manage nearly every aspect of our lives - our communications, our work, our social life and even our history.

Also goes some way to explain how the media manipulates opinion.....

Benefit claimants of any description have been painted with a dark brush and made out to be workshy and leeching off the taxpayer whilst the tax affairs of google, amazon, starbucks ect ect ect. is simply glossed over.

To be fair to these firms they only take advantage of the current law as it stands so are not doing anything wrong in the eyes of the law although some sections of the media are playing the moralty angle.

What Westonmans articles above point out is the link between the boards of these firms and influential politicians......

These same politicians are only too keen to introduce a bill which will reduce benefits all in the name of reducing the deficit but will not change tax law to close the many loopholes which large corporations take advantage of.

The vast majority of Members of Parliament own property portfolio's which they let as private rentals, these same people manipulated the economy to create a bubble which increased their net wealth and drove up rents everywhere then creamed off the taxpayer by raising housing benefit which is paid directly to them.

How big is Tony Blair's property portfolio now?

Poor old Moley does not have Cameron on speed dial whenever he needs a bit of legislation changed for his benefit but you can be sure the likes of Eric Schmidt has....

And there is the bugger. We are stuck with this system because the media does such a good job keeping the real facts about how this Country is governed from the masses. Every now and again 5 years to be exact we go thru a charade called a general election when supposedly the people of the UK get to choose the next Government. Most think that is democracy but when the corporations and the banks own the politicians it is nothing of the sort.

Every now and again one of them cocks up and oversteps the mark. Provided they are low key enough they quietly dissapear and this was Patrick Mercer yesterday. Willing to take money to try and influence how legislation was framed which is corruption plain and simple and in most other nations he would be charged with a criminal offence.

As he is a UK politician he is allowed to quietly resign the whip, see out his notice over the next two years with access to his not ungenerous salary and expenses and not even have to turn up to work to earn them. In reality he should be behind bars.

Coming to a town near me.

It looks as though the Great Wall of Watford will prevent me from rocking up to discuss my personal benefit issue with the 'great and the good' though ?

Well the international circus has rolled into my nearby town.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... hotel.html

I have never taken part in a protest in my life, but I am seriously considering it now, seeing as this secretive meeting is taking place right on my doorstep, and I am forbidden to go anywhere near it.

" Hertforshire Police said the Bilderberg Group has agreed to contribute some of the cost of security, but taxpayers will have to cover the rest "

They have agreed to contribute some of the cost ?? Some of the richest and most influential people on the planet have descended on Watford, and will make a contribution towards some of the cost of the security they feel so neccessary ?? Well how very gracious of them.

I am seething

It just seems incredible and so anti-democratic, all these powerful people, some of them our elected representatives, meeting in secret, sworn to secrecy and protected by the state security machine. Very odd.

No-one holding official office should EVER be permitted to take part in ANY meeting that involves secret discussions and them swearing never to talk about what was discussed or with whom. What a SCANDAL.

This group holds no political mandate nor are its agenda's or minutes open to public scrutiny yet they can call on the police to secure and lock down the area for them.

I bet if the EDL/BNP or from the other end of the spectrum UAF were to ask the police to mount huge exclusions zones around hotels when they hold their AGM's or other meetings they would be told in no uncertain terms to foxtrot oscar.

LabLibCon have a monopoly on UK politics and the assession to power. The powerful figures behind Bilderburg ensure they are well funded and that they keep that 'potential for assession'.
Which is why you cannot put a fag paper between the policies of any of them.

They are all pretty much the same 'born to rule' with the guiding hand of Bilderburg democracy.

Lets take a couple of issues of the last Month or so which underline this.

Lord someone or other advised to make a donation (by Labour themselves) in the most tax efficient way. Other party jumps in saying they have fiddled the taxpayer out of a million or more of dosh for political advantage but would have done the same in a heartbeat.

Many corporations avoid paying tax, all very legal and above board. You would think it would be simple enough for politicians to change the law and close these loopholes pretty quickly wouldn't you? In fact Osborne has promised to do something about in his last two budget speeches to my knowledge. Talk is cheap and makes the proles think something is being down.

Quietly policy is being made behind closed doors in hotels in such non de script places like Watford.

David Cameron is to attend a meeting of the secretive Bilderberg Group tonight - but will not say who he meets.

The Prime Minister will take part in a debate on the global economy with an unknown group of ministers, business leaders and academics from around the world.

Quote:
The Prime Minister has made great play of his commitment to be more open about who he meets.

In 2010 he promised: 'We want to be the most open and transparent government in the world.'

Their lips are moving again.......
