Tevfick Souleiman and immigration advisers Cenk Guclu and Furrah Kosimov were found guilty of conspiracy to breach immigration law last week. Code: Judge John Bevan said members of Souleiman GA solicitors had run a "conveyor belt" of brides being flown in from eastern European countries. They would marry men they had never met from non-EU countries and be flown out the next day after being paid by the north London firm. Quote: The judge said the conspiracy would place a burden on UK taxpayers for years to come. They will serve 5 years at worst in a cushy open prison. £4m per year tax free? Good work if you can get it. Meanwhile.....the Border Agency will swing into action and kick out all those 'married couples'. I won't be holding my breath...... Of course being part of the Euro project allows this to go on. No doubt these fictitious brides were from Eastern Euro countries with free movement into and out of the UK. And to turn insult to injury.... The UK is supporting Turkeys accession to the EU as soon as possible. |

I heard a few years ago of a woman working in a registry office in a neighbouring borough who knew loads of the weddings she was officiating at were fake but her bosses weren't interested. |
