There is that sense of entitlement again!!

Before the sense of entitlement Where is the sense of Fairness

Quote:
In the general spirit of things I supported the Olympics coming to London but have been seriously turned off the idea now given how everyone and their dog have jumped on the bandwagon in an attempt to grab a bonus.

Jobs for the Boys, Cronies, corperations, drug dealers, Pimps and Prostitues and their Dogs spring to mind, perhaps if they offered their services for the average london wage it could be more paletable.

I ask you just where is their spirit of the Olympics

Quote:
Let us not forget the taxpayer will ultimately foot the bill for this 'sense of entitlement'.

Yes I pay Hillingdon council full council tax out of wages, pay income tax on wages and have paid more than my fair share of capital cains tax and feel like so many that I have been MUGGED

I remember my Grandfather telling me about when he as a Petty Officer in the ROYAL NAVY in 1936 helping out at the German Olympics in front of Hitler, he was proud to be a part of it , it was his DUTY and was given a clock by a German clock maker(which I now proudly own along with his medals)at the end of it, a thank you for the assistance type thing.

Can you see any of these PARASITES settling for a clock

By the way I have two sons in the Military at the moment(on active service)and its FARCICAL how much TAX PAYERS MONEY is being burnt on what really is a corperate exercise to explote as much cash out of the working public as possible.

In the words of the Royale family OLYMPIC SPIRIT MY ARSE

They should have said "NO" to Crow in the first place and let him do his worst. I bet a high proportion of transport workers would have turned up anyway.

Crow on his 6 figure salary who gets paid through strikes doesn't care about his members lost wages as long as he gets in the limelight (IMO)
