I used to deliver papers in Brickfields lane 1950 ish it was a dodgy place then, also Victoria Lane opposite down by the pig farm, also many other places on my way to school in New Road

I can remember the Harvey family in Brickfields Lane and a beaten up park, one family used to buy the Daily Mirror at 1 1/2 d and share it with five others I think that worked out to 1 farthing per family per day, Jim knows what I am talking about.
