Exactly Sot.
My whole gripe about this seemingly endless drive for 'equality' is that it's the polar opposite.
If you want to be 'equal' surely the last thing you do is divide yourself off into seperate splinter groups to the exclusion of anyone else who doesn't meet the criteria. Where is the equality in that ?
History shows that in the past some groups did suffer persecution and bigotry in this country
( and still do in many other countries ), but we have come a long way since then. If you want true equality it's simple enough. Integrate and embrace the culture. By all means have a moan about things you don't like or agree with but do it within that society, not outside of it.
Call me biased but I honestly believe the UK is one of the most tolerant countries on earth, but I can't help thinking that tolerance is being exploited to breaking point by some. It won't be a pretty sight when the dam finally breaks. Politicians from all sides seem content for now to stick a plaster over a gaping wound in the hope they can pass the blame on to the next incompetent bunch of chancers who get elected.
We are all in this together after all
