What is Cameron up to? Is Cameron's reshuffle to feminise the Cabinet a serious attempt at raising the quality of government; or the last desperate attempt of a buffoon to remain in power at any cost?

What I don't get is that according to the BBC they all 'resigned' !

Surely Cameron sacked or moved them ?

Agreed. Something very strange is going on.

UKIP have been accused by the established parties of having no political experience, and therefore unfit to govern. But Cameron, by selecting inexperienced and recently elected MPs to positions of ministerial authority, is proving that experience isn't required by the established parties. Another example of political hypocrisy.

That was exactly my thoughts. The new Education Secretary only came into Parliament when the coalition was formed in 2010. She's now a cabinet minister????? :?

Maybe this is what you need to do when you want a grateful compliant cabinet, rather than a load of experienced politician with their own strong views? Mind you I did find the description of the old cabinet as 'pale stale & male' quite amusing :)
