I've just spent a couple of months in Florida (to get away from the horrendous UK weather) and sitting next to the pool one day I remarked to my wife how wonderful it was that on each neighbourhood estate the houses were built around a lake then someone told me that these "lakes" were in fact sink-holes, Florida is the sink-hole capital of the US!

My Summer/Winter home is in North West Florida on a hill, I sink I am safe from sink holes.
